Spread the equivalent of 2 pea-sized amounts of Soothing Eye Contour Cream on to the tip of your ring fingers, and gently dab onto your eyelids. Smooth the upper eyelids with your index fingers, the lower eyelid with your middle finger, from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner.

It's a good cream, but have some concerns with on ingredient in particular. I no longer have the box which states all of the ingredients and can't seem to find it online. But apparently this cream contains corticosteroids which thins skin over time. Is this true?
This product was the best thing I've ever used to treat raised hyperpigmention around my eyes. Being a Pharmacist I tried products over the counter and also resulted to seeing the GP however nothing worked. After seeing a specialist at one of the local chemist (Mistrys Chemist at Market Harborough) I was recommended this product. I used it every day and within a month the hyperpiguentaion had calmed down considerably also the blemishes have reduced.
Over the past fortnight I have had extremely dry eyes and have not been able to put the moisturiser I normally use on. I went to the pharmacy at Boots and was told by a No7 skin advisor that this product would reduce the redness and wouldn't irritate my eyes. However, after using this product for a day my eyelids became extremely itchy and swelled up. I visited the doctor and he said that it was most certainly an allergic reaction to this product. Therefore I would not recomend.
Combine it with Avène Thermal Spring Water to provide long-lasting relief for your eyelids. Either by spraying it on after removing your make-up and before applying the Soothing Eye Contour Cream, or in compresses for 10 to 15 minutes after soaking cotton pads with Avène Thermal Water.
