What a lovely cleanser. Foams well and deeply cleans your skin. Very gentle on the skin which is great for sensitive skin. Smells lovely and not over powering as some products are. No reaction which is great for someone with highly sensitive skin like me.
I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and really like it. It’s really soothing and makes my skin feel hydrated. I have really sensitive skin and really struggle finding anything that doesn’t irate my skin but this is fab!

I used this for first time and it’s definitely better than my previous face cleaner. It is very gentle, but effective. Make up comes off easily; I did have to get used to the way the cleaner had to be applied and then removed, but got better with practice. Skin is left feeling soft and clean. I’m prone to breakouts, but none experienced with this cleaner. It’s opening is specially designed to keep bacteria out, which is a nice extra. The only negative is lack of instructions on the bottle, I had to look up on internet for how to use it right.
I tried this cleanser and I was pleasantly surprised. Made my skin feel really nice and soft . No residue left behind .not reactions. Very gentle . I would definitely recommend. I will definitely buy again
This is a leave-on lotion, so we recommend not rinsing it off with tap water, as this can often be too harsh on reactive skin. If you do want to rinse it off, make sure you simply finish off with a generous spray of Avène Thermal Spring Water to remove the limescale and chlorine found in tap water.
Yes, Tolérance Extremely Gentle Cleanser has the advantage of containing very little oil to suit combination skin and having a gel-like texture to be comfortable for dry skin.
With reactive or hypersensitive skin, it’s best to be generous in order to gently cleanse and remove make-up from the face. A hazelnut-sized amount is recommended for the face.
