Having used this for the first time I am really impressed, it has a very subtle scent to it and absorbs into my skin nicely.
A little goes a long way as shown in the attached images.
This past weeks weather was the perfect opportunity to test out this cream, the skin on my face and neck felt hydrated and fully protected, being water resistant was a bonus too!
It is super easy to apply and lasts all day long.

The Avène Sun Cream SPF50+ for Dry Sensitive Skin is absolutely perfect for my skin! I often get flare ups when using new products on my face but this has been brilliant. It smells lovely, doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind and isn’t too heavy/thick so great for a base layer before my make up too! I even use it on some of my scars as it is such high protection sun cream. Would really recommend to anyone wanting a high spf sun cream for your face!
I’m 6 months pregnant and have been using this for the past few weeks whether the weather is sunny or not and it’s been great.
I put my moisturiser on first and then use just over a pea size of this (very thick and you don’t need much at all for full face coverage) and rub in using my fingertips.
Putting the moisturiser first helps prevent a little bit of a tint on the skin but it’s nothing really noticeable without the moisturiser. I also have dry skin in the Tzone area which appears to have reduced a bit as well- double win!
Received this at the right time….. the week of sun it come in handy it was great for mine and the family’s skin used it everyday…. Not too greasy and not too thick great protection! Would definitely recommend this product
I have oily skin and it works great under my day time makeup. Doesn't feel sticky or greasy and absorbs almost immediately. I am aware its for dry sensitive skin, but it is not necessary as my T zone is oily and works just fine on my skin. It cooperate very well with the rest of my skin routine products (serums, creams, mists etc.)
The finish is very silky and has good oil control. I absolutely love the gentle fragrance, really it smells gorgeous.
I trust it will protect my face and neck skin from the sun this summer. It is like double protection compared to what other brands are offering at the moment. Will definitely add it to my daily skin routine. Its great to see a brand trying to reduce plastic and protect the planet. Definitely will be purchasing again and I am going to recommend it to all my friends.

The application of a 50+ sun cream does not prevent you from getting a tan. By using a 50+ sun care product, your skin is protected and the tan will last longer.
If you have dry skin, we advise you to apply your facial skin care before your sun protection. In the summer, under your make-up to avoid that “cakey” look, you can replace your moisturiser with a hydrating serum like Hydrance Sérum.
