Throughout the past last year I have tried almost the entire Hydrance range from Avene and so far I have not found a product I don't love; this being said, this hydrating emulsion is no exception. I suffer from really dry and dehydrated skin especially during the winter months and I am always looking for products that provide a deep hydration and nourishment to my skin without clogging my pores. What I really like about this cream is that it has a very lightweight consistency but yet packs a punch as I do not feel during the day the need to apply more or op it up with another moisturiser. It has that very specific avene scent which personally I like. I was pleasantly surprised to see that even though it is an spf 30 cream it did not leave any white cast on my skin even when I applied a generous amount. So a big thumps up for that! Will definitely be buying the full size once I run out of my current spf.
I have forever used the SPF20 light cream, however after changing the formulation its really not suitable for blemish prone/oily skin anymore. The 3rd ingredient is a plant derived fat (basically as oil!) .. so this will leave a greasy residue. HOWEVER, if you have dry skin/can handle an oil boost, this cream is lovely.
I have been using this moisturiser for a few weeks now and would definitely recommend. Leaves the skin feeling smooth,firm and looking great. It does not feel greasy like a number of other moisturisers but still keeps the skin hydrated

This cream has quite a thick texture and therefore feels very hydrating and nourishing. It has a pleasant subtle smell and applies well. Rubs in nicely and skin feels soft after using. A little greasy initially so takes some rubbing in.
The consumer is advised to systematically check the composition of the product before purchasing it.
