5 rules for quick make-up application
Putting on make-up takes a little time. However, if you don't have much time or don't want to overdo your beauty routine, there are tips to help you. The aim is to enhance your face in a minimum amount of time and without stress. Follow these 5 rules to achieve this effortlessly.
First of all, even if you don't have more than 5 minutes to do your make-up, take the time to do it at home. Putting on make-up in the metro or at a red light can be dangerous! To avoid wasting time, however, have everything you need at hand to give yourself an express makeover at any time, whether you’re leaving for work in the morning or before a last-minute appointment. The best way to do this is to place your products – concealer, blush and foundation – in the same drawer or in a small basket in your bathroom or on your make-up table.
When I don't have time to put on make-up, I do the minimum: a little powder, mascara, lip balm and off I go!
In order to achieve the best possible results for an express beauty routine, your tools and products must be chosen with care and not be too numerous. So here's what you'll need: a tinted daytime moisturiser, a matching concealer, pressed powder, blush, mascara, lip perfector. And if you have a little more time, you can add a pencil line to your eyes.
For the eyes, start with a touch of sun or healthy glow mosaic powder on your eyelids. It will replace eyeshadow perfectly and give you a healthy glow effortlessly. Then add depth to your look by applying a coat of mascara to your lashes, starting with the bottom ones. While they are drying, do the top. Also highlight your eyelids with some eye liner pencil and/or sculpt your eyebrows to rejuvenate your look. Finally, apply a lip perfector to your lips. And you're made up in just 5 minutes!
You're made up in 5 minutes flat! While the result is quite acceptable, if you have to go out in the evening, you will need to do some touch-ups. To freshen up your make-up, put a touch of foundation on a sponge and rub off any traces of smudged make-up under the eyes and around the mouth before reapplying anything else. The solution is simple: remember to take your make-up bag with you to make one or two touch-ups during the day. You will feel beautiful and confident all evening.
