How to hide dark circles with make-up?
With age, heredity but also fatigue, dark circles can become coloured or deeper. With the help of the appropriate corrector sticks and brushes, it’s possible to easily blur coloured dark circles, hollows or bags while emphasising your eyes. Follow our guide.
Before applying any concealer, remember to moisturise the eye area. This will allow the concealer to hold better and remain invisible. After applying your foundation all over your face and dark circles, choose the beige concealer brush. For mild dark circles, this shade is perfect. Apply directly with the brush by spreading a thin layer of concealer along the edge of the circle and gently tapping to set the product. Finish your make-up by applying the translucent or brightening mosaic powder.
I’ve always had dark circles. If I don't smoke the beige brush is enough, but as soon as I do smoke I have to switch to the coral stick.

Are your dark circles coloured? The correct shade and the product to camouflage them will depend on your skin tone and the colour of the dark circles. For example, for bluish dark circles – which are more common on fair skin – apply a yellow corrector stick. If you have dark skin, your dark circles are often predominantly brown. To conceal them, use the coral concealer stick.
Whatever colour you choose, apply a small amount of product from the stick, preferably with a brush for a more precise and lighter result. Too thick a layer may, on the other hand, make fine lines around the eyes stand out. Then apply by blending from the inner corner to the outer corner. Set by tapping with your fingertip. Although concealer should preferably be applied after foundation, you can also apply a little foundation afterwards to complete the correction.
When dark circles are rather puffy, we speak of "bags". These are often related to an accumulation of water and fat in the lower eyelid. To hide them, the technique paradoxically consists of focusing on the hollow of the bag. Apply the beige concealer brush from the inner corner to the outer corner. This will make the darker, deeper part of the dark circle appear shallower. As a result, the pocket will be reduced. Always apply foundation before applying concealer.

Are your dark circles bothering you? With a few tricks, eye make-up can help you to blur them effectively and discreetly. Apply your mascara only to your upper lashes, avoiding further darkening and shadows on your lower lid. Use pencil and eyeliner on the upper eyelid, as opposed to kohls that smudge and darken dark circles as the day progresses. Finally, don't hesitate to shape your eyebrows in a way that lift your eyes.
