Properties
A 40-year journey in the Cevennes Mountain allows the water of Avène to acquire the perfectly balanced mineral composition becoming gradually enriched with trace elements and silicates.

The low mineral content makes the water specially suitable to sensitive skin

The high level of silica protects skin

pH 7.5 won’t sting or burn skin

Naturally bacteriologically pure so it can be sprayed on open and clean wounds

Constant temperature of 25.6ºC. Colourless, odourless, tasteless

To protect its unique properties, the water is the only thermal spring water directly connected from the source to the Hydrotherapy Centre and the manufacturing plant next to it. The first time it sees the light in 40 years is when it touches your skin!

The water is tested every day and a specific laboratory has been created to do fundamental research on the properties of the water.
