Composition

Avène Thermal Spring Water has a stable composition over the years and is bacteriologically pure, has a low mineral content and has a large variety of anions, cations and trace elements. The 2 to 1 Calcium/Magnesium ratio, the same naturally found in the skin, makes it exceptional among dermatological thermal spring waters and may explain its soothing action during the course of treatment at Avène.

The water is tested every day and a specific laboratory has been created to do fundamental research on the properties of the water.
